Former Foreign Minister and Chairman Steering Committee of Pakistan Muslim League (Like Minded) Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri met Prince Karim Aga Khan and Former Foreign Minister of India Jaswant Singh on the sidelines of the Paris Conference. According to fax message received here on Wednesday, during the meeting with Prince Karim Aga Khan, Kasuri discussed with the dignitary the situation in Afghanistan and reconstruction activities in Afghanistan and Tribal Areas of Pakistan.
It may be recalled that Aga Khan had recently attended the London Conference on Afghanistan. Kasuri emphasised the need for inclusion of Pashtuns in the Afghan National Army and Police according to their population. Former Foreign Minister of India Jaswant Singh and Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri discussed the current state of Pak-India relations and agreed on the need to increase people-to-people contacts between the two countries to reduce tension between Pakistan and India.
