Three killed in different incidents

At least three people were killed in different violent incidents across the city on Wednesday, police sources said. According to detail, the area residents have recovered 12 days old strangled body from a house in New Karachi while two people were gunned down by unknown armed men in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Quaidabad.
Sources in Khawaja Ajmair Nagri police said the area residents recovered a 12-day-old body of Javaid Iqbal, 40, son of Ahmed Khan, who was strangled to death from a house No A-27, New Karachi. The deceased hailed from Rawalpindi and living on rent in the city since long time.
The victim was the team member of SSP Security Maqsood Ahmed Memon. His body was moved to his hometown after post-mortem examination from Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH). In another incident, another man was gunned down in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 10 by some unknown armed assailants.
According to detail, Zubair Alam son of Aslam was on way to attend his office when some armed motorcyclists sprayed bullets on him and fled from the crime scene, leaving him dead on the spot. His body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal proceedings. In yet another incident, a mason was shot dead by unknown armed bike riders in the remit of Quaidabad police station during wee hours of Wednesday morning.
According to detail, Abdul Sattar, 40, son of Sakhi Khan was killed by unknown armed men when he left his house to earn breed for his children, near Quaidabad Flyover. The deceased was the resident of Kandhkot. Sources in Quaidabad police station said the victim was targeted over an old enmity. The police have lodged a case against Ali Gohar, a relative of the deceased on complaint of Sher Ali, the cousin of victim mason.
