Pakistan Muslim League-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that the implementation on Charter of Democracy (CoD) was vital for the stability of democracy in the country. Addressing a press conference at Jaffarabad, he said that the party would decide whether to take part in by-election for NA-123 or not.
He said that his presence or otherwise in assembly had no matter but the country should progress adding that there was no agreement that hinders him contesting election. Sharif said the democracy had restored after a great struggle adding that it was essential to implement CoD signed by Shaheed Benazir Bhutto in letter in spirit to strengthen the democracy.
The PPP and the PML-N have complete consensus on CoD, he added. PML-N Chief said the inflation would rise after hike in petroleum prices in the country. He urged the government to take parliament into confidence before taking such decisions.
