Equities move both ways on ISE

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in the index. ISE Ten Index showed an increase of 43.51 points, as the Index moved from 2,285.53 to 2329.04 points. The overall turnover amounted to 1,629,246 shares, as compared to previous volume of 778,495 shares.
Total 145 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (95) closed in positive territory, 50 closed in negative territory. The turnover of Shifa International was 275,000 shares. The volume of Maple Leaf Cement was 260,699 shares. The turnover of Lafarge Pakistan Cement was 216,500 shares. Top gainer was Millat Tractors with an increase of Rs 18.68 per share, whereas major loser was Unilever Pakistan with a decrease of Rs 52.02 per share.
