The statements of two complainants were incorporated as First Information Report into Roznamcha (daily dairy) of PS Steel Town by SHO of the said Police Station (PS) here on Thursday in presence of Registrar of the High Court of Sindh (SHC) as per orders of a division bench of the SHC passed on Wednesday.
Mst. Farzana, widow of Sardar Abdul Rahman Baloch and Mst. Farah Naz, sister of Baba Aurangzeb were recorded under section 154 CrPC. The accused, SSP Chaudhry Aslam was then booked under section 365 (abduction) and 302 (premeditated murder). Sardar Abdul Rahman, Baba Aurangzeb and two other business partners and friends were gunned down in August 2009.
The petitioners alleging extra judicial killing of Sardar Abdul Rahman maintained that all the four deceased were taken into custody by a CID police party headed by SSP Chaudhry Aslam from Zero Point, Gwadar Highway. They were unarmed and were taken away for interrogation and after six to eight hours of captivity, custody, they were allegedly gunned down in an "encounter" in the limits of Steel Town PS. A bench of SHC had Wednesday ordered registration of a FIR against the SSP, Chaudhry Aslam and other officials in the police party as per version of the complainants/ heirs of the deceased.
