Curfew continues in occupied Srinagar

Many areas of occupied Srinagar, including Maisuma, Rainawari, Nowhatta, Safa Kadal, Maharaj Ganj, Amira Kadal remained under curfew on Sunday to stop anti-India demonstrations. Complete shutdown was being observed in different cities and towns of the occupied territory, KMS reported.
People were not being allowed to come out of their houses. The authorities had also sealed the APHC headquarter in occupied Srinagar. Heavy police contingents had been deployed around it. On the other hand, the APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza and other Hurriyet leaders remained under house arrest while Hurriyet leader, Muhammad Abdullah Tari had been arrested by the police.
