Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH): Ulema discuss arrangements

Ulema of various organisations discussed the arrangements to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW), an annual religious festival marked on Rabi-ul-Awwal 12, at a meeting organised by the Nizam-e-Mustafa Party (NMP), here on Sunday.
Besides, Amir NMP Haji Hanif Tayyab, prominent scholars, including Allama Shah Turab-ul-Haq Qadri, Dr Allama Kokab Noorani, Allama Ghulam Dastagir Afghani, Allama Azmat Ali Shah Hamdani, Al-haj Muhammad Rafi Naqasbandi, Maulana Nawab Nafees and Muhammad Hussain Lakhani attended the meeting, said a statement issued by NMP. They decided to start full preparations to take out rallies and processions to mark the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
In this regard, they advised to prepare groups of volunteers of organisers of the events and contact the Jamaat Ahl-e-Sunnat for their training. They observed that security arrangements for all the events is responsibility of the government.
The ulema also called for equipping the bomb disposal Squad with modern technologies and equipment. They also advised for constitution of peace committees at town level and teams of volunteers as well.
The meeting also appealed to the organisers of all the processions and rallies to foster co-ordination with the Jamaat Ahl-e-Sunnat to maintain discipline in all the events on Eid Milad- un- Nabi (PBUH). The meeting also offered fateha for Central Vice-president NMP, late Pir Syed Daman Shah Jilani.
