The recent heavy snowfall and rain caused landslides in different areas of Neelum valley, which damaged the Special Communications Organisation (SCO) Optical Fiber Cable, thereby disrupting telecom network in Jura, Mirpura and Kundal Shahi area.
At present effected area is not accessible due to heavy snow/land sliding. However, the SCO team, comprising professional engineers, has been dispatched to Neelum Valley to rectify the fault as early as possible. It is worth mentioning here that SCO technical teams are always on high alert to maintain the telecom links in difficult terrain of AJ&K, especially, Neelum Valley and enthusiastic workers of SCO are trying to restore telecom facilities in shortest possible time.-PR
