Wheat futures fell at the Chicago Board of Trade early on Tuesday, turning lower following strength at the open as traders unloaded positions after Monday's short-covering rally fizzled. At 9:47 am CST (1547 GMT), CBOT soft red winter wheat for March delivery was down 3-3/4 cents at $4.80-1/4 a bushel. Minneapolis Grain Exchange spring wheat and Kansas City Board of Trade hard red winter wheat futures also were lower early.
