The Pakistan Navy made elaborate arrangements to celebrate the forthcoming Pakistan Day in Sukkur-Rohri in a befitting manner. It chalked out a programme for the day in collaboration with the district administration, local elders, ulema, civil society activists, notables and students.
In this regard, a meeting was presided over jointly by District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Abdul Majeed Pathan and Lieutenant Commander PN Zuilifqar Ahmed at Family Park Rohri on Thursday, where DCO directed the district police to prepare a foolproof security plan to ensure safe and secure arrangement of the forthcoming Pakistan Day celebration programmes.
He also directed all the TMOs to chalk out seemly Pakistan Day celebration programmes and to ensure illumination at their office buildings. The day would dawn with special prayers in all mosques for peace, prosperity and solidarity of the country. Special messages would be read out after flag hoisting ceremony at Pakistan Navy water Sports/ family Park at Rohri. Highlights of the day include student table shows, speeches as well as some new activities by Pakistan Navy (PN) Recruitment and Selection Center Sukkur.
