'Ancient Civilisation' as core subject will be introduced in SU

Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Professor Dr Nazir A Mughal has said the 'Ancient Civilisation' as core subject will be introduced in all disciplines of the University of Sindh and institutes affiliated with the university must follow policies and educational reforms introduced by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
He was presiding over a high-level meeting with the management of private affiliated colleges and institutes, here on Friday. The Vice Chancellor said that the affiliated colleges and institutes should follow the policies and decisions and urged the management of the colleges and institutes to strictly follow procedures for improving quality of education.
He said that the management of the institutes and colleges should be careful in adopting rules and regulations set by the university for running institutes in a very fair and well manner. With some knowledge about the civilisation, the youth would feel proud of their civilisation. He also pointed out many reforms would be introduced and implemented at the University of Sindh and added that examination system would be systematised for announcement of immediate results.
Preferably examinations will be conducted in the University and colleges on the same date to save the time of the candidates, he disclosed. Dean Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration Dr Anwar Ali Shah, Registrar Muhammad Hussain Shaikh, Controller of Examination Dr K.D. Pitafi, Inspector of Colleges Dr Imdadullah Brohi, Syed Shafiq Hyder Musvi and some others also attended the meeting.
