Iranian envoy for promoting economic ties

Iranian Consul General Saeed Kharazi has said that there is a wide scope of co-operation between Iran and Pakistan in different sectors and there is a pressing need for promoting trade, economic and cultural relations between the two countries. He was speaking on the first meeting of Pak-Iran Friendship Association on Friday.
The meeting was addressed by President of the Association, Zia Haider Rizvi, former provincial minister Mian Imran Masood, famous religious scholar Hassan Zafar Naqvi and political analyst Hassan Askari Rizvi. Kharazi said that Iranian revolution proved that government could be run on the Islamic principles. He said that Iran and Pakistan should jointly face the conspiracies hatched by the enemies of two friendly countries.
