Soyabean and corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade were higher early on Tuesday, buoyed by a weaker dollar, short-covering and spillover strength from other commodities including crude oil and gold, traders said. As of 9:40 am CST (1540 GMT), CBOT March soyabeans were up 14 cents at $9.59 per bushel after surging to a near four-week high at $9.62-1/4.
March corn was up 6 cents at $3.67-1/2 a bushel after reaching a three-week top at $3.68-3/4.
