India making special security arrangements

India has made special security arrangements for smooth conducting of Hockey World Cup being held here from February 28. One thousand security personnel and about 200 commandos especially trained in sharp shooting will be deployed to man high-rise buildings around the National Stadium.
The World Cup is being held in India after 28 years. It was last held in 1982 in Mumbai where Pakistan lifted the cup. The tournament will be participated by 12 countries and around 400 players and delegates. India won Hockey World Cup in 1975 in Kuala Lumpur.
