LAHORE: Former Test cricketer Moin Khan is likely to return to the PCB’s governing body as a manager of the tear after Sri Lanka tour.

Former captain of Pakistan Khan was fired by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015 as chief selector following a casino scandal.

Dunya News citing its sources claimed that team manager Talat Ali has informed PCB that he will be unable to perform his duties with the national squad owing to personal reasons after the Sri Lanka series.

It has further been learnt that Moin Khan, who was also awarded top positions in the previous brief tenure of Najam Sethi as PCB chief, is being considered the strongest candidate to replace Talat Ali as team manager.

It is pertinent to mention here that, after casino scandal, than PCB chief Shahryar Khan summoned Moin and informed him that his services were no longer required.
