Demanding salary, employment: CJP requested to take suo motu action

A citizen and a former employee of a company Ali Saleem Dilbar has written a letter to the Chief Justice Pakistan praying to him to take suo motu action and reopen his case for hearing. The applicant, in his letter, contended that he worked in Viva Sport Industry for 12 years but when he demanded an increase in the salary and registration as an industrial worker, his employers dismissed him from his service.
He further said that the District Labour Officer got him paid rupees 7300 from the employers, but the rest of the amount is still due. He claimed that the Labour Court and High Court did not hear his case properly and prayed to the apex court to reopen his case.
