MAP announces organisational changes

The President and Members of the Executive Committee of the Management Association of Pakistan have announced the following organisational changes with immediate effect: The current Executive Director Farooq Hassan has opted for retirement after almost 10 years of meritorious and dedicated service to MAP during which the Association showed significant developments. The Executive Committee of MAP is sorry to see Hassan go and wishes him well for the future.
Hassan is being replaced by Chishty Mujahid as MAP's new Executive Director. Chishty Mujahid who has an M A from Cambridge University UK, was educated at Karachi Grammar School, National College Karachi and Selwyn College Cambridge. He brings with him vast experience, knowledge and expertise in the field of management. He has served in various senior management positions in MNCs like Glaxo, Unilever, SK&F and Searle. He has also had a stint as the Chief Executive of the Pakistan Cricket Board. Mujahid has attended courses, seminars and meetings throughout the world, which greatly added to his understanding of the dynamics of management.
Chishty Mujahid has been a well known and respected TV and Radio cricket commentator for over 43 years and has commentated over channels throughout the world on the game. He is the recipient of several TV and Radio awards for telecasting and broadcasting. In 2003 Chishty Mujahid was decorated with the President of Pakistan's Medal for Pride of Performance. The Executive Committee of MAP welcomes Mujahid and wishes him well in this new venture.-PR
