Allied Bank Limited (ABL) has proposed opening up of its branch at Allama I.I.Kazi Campus Jamshoro, University of Sindh to provide banking services to the university students, faculty members and other staff. A meeting was held in this regard here on Wednesday. The purpose of the meeting was to review the proposal and possibility of opening up of a branch.
Vice Chancellor, Deans of many faculties, Registrar and Director Finance, Naseem Junejo, Regional Head of ABL Hyderabad were also present in the meeting. Vice Chancellor of the Sindh University Professor Dr Nazir A Mughal presided over the meeting. The Vice Chancellor informed the meeting that the ABL management has shown interest in opening a branch at Allama I.I.Kazi Campus Jamshoro.
Junejo on this occasion briefed the meeting about ABL's services and said that the ABL management wished to open a modern and model branch with all required facilities for the services of the students. He said that ABL's branch at the university of Sindh would be great honour for the ABL bank and added that purpose of the opening up of the branch at Allama I.I.Kazi Campus is to provide best possible services and facilities to the students, faculty members and employees.
He informed that in Hyderabad region presently 60 ABL branches dad been providing best services along with ATM service while 160 branches were working in the province of Sindh. He said that at the university a best ABL branch would be initiated which would be best among all branches in the Country.
He said that 2 ATM counters and online services would also be available. The bank would also provide loan facilities to the University faculty members and employees. He said that online service to the university faculty and employees would be provided. The Vice Chancellor advised the bank representative to bring the objectives and conditions in written form.
