NA 123 by-elections: Jamaat-i-Islami candidate says EC should call army

Candidate of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan in NA 123 Hafiz Salman Butt has demanded that Election Commission should call army in NA 123 to maintain law and order in the constituency. He also appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take sou motu action on the incident of power theft in the public gathering addressed by PML (N) Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and order to register FIRs against those who were involved in the incident.
He alleged that PML (N) was involved in the power theft while line superintendent of Lahore Electric Supply Company was made scapegoat as he was on leave. Salman Butt was addressing a press conference here, on Thursday. He said Chief Justice of Pakistan not only playing its role in the appointment of judges, but also plays its role in solving the issues of common people.
He alleged the ruling party was using state machinery and was involved in making fake votes. He demanded that election commission should take action against the pre-poll rigging of the PML (N). While Calling Muslim League " Mujrim League" (criminal league) Butt said that PML (N) leaders and their members of the parliament were involved in the corruption.
Butt while counting the corruption scandals of PML (N) leaders said Haji Pervaiz was involved in patronising his nephew who was giving papers instead of him. Rana Sana-ullah is the owner of the illegal plaza, Shumaila Rana was involved in credit card scandal, and Chaudhery Ghafoor was involved in power theft.
