Hamara Karachi Festival begins from March 10

Hamara Karachi Festival will be held from March 10 to 24 under the aegis of Hamara Karachi Foundation. This was announced by former City Naib Nazim and Foundation's President Nasrin Jalil while addressing a press conference along with Local Government Minister Agha Siraj Durrani at Karachi Press Club.
She pointed out that Hamara Karachi Festival has proved instrumental in developing the sense of ownership among Karachiites and its celebration sends a positive image of Karachi to the world. On the occasion Agha Siraj Durrani appreciated the services of Nasrin Jalil and said she has worked all out in promoting literary and cultural activities in Karachi.
"We wants the revival of Karachi's active life and it is the vision of President Asif Ali Zardari and Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussain to make Karachi beautiful and restored its past glories and traditions". He assured of all support from him and Sindh Government for Hamara Karachi Festival.
Nasrin Jalil said that if on one side all out attention was paid on infrastructure upgradation of the city, it is imperative to highlight the city's literary and cultural image so that mental peace is provided to people through healthy recreational activities.
