Ranging from $1.2870 to $1.3215. Arabica coffee futures flirted with a 5-1/2 month low as the dollar rallied and pressured the commodity complex, said brokers.
May raw sugar contract fell 0.50 cent to 21.55 cents per lb at 11:05 am. Trading from 21.24 to 22.29 cents. Sugar down on technical investor sales, but off its lows after suspected consumer/trade buying comes in, said dealers. May cocoa contract rose $15 to $2,838 per tonne at 11:05 am. Dealing from $2,810 to $2,867. US cocoa futures bounced up from Wednesday's six-month low, ignoring currency pressure as the pound dipped against the dollar, said traders.
