After terror attack in Kabul, India closed its medical mission in Kabul temporary. An Indian official Spokesperson on Saturday while denying reports on temporary suspension of functioning of Indian Medical Missions in Afghanistan, said after the death of one doctor in terror strike, the work of Kabul medical mission is suspended temporary, while all other medical missions including Herat, Kandahar, Jalalabad and Mazar-e-Sharif are working smoothly.
The Embassy of India and its other offices in Afghanistan have continued to function normally in the face of extremely demanding and difficult circumstances, the spokesman added. An Indian probe team and National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon are in Kabul to review the security situation for Indians.
