Prices of essential commodities revised

District Price Control Committee has revised the prices of essential commodities and adjusted them according to market trends. Under directions of DCO/Administrator a special meeting of the committee held here on Saturday with EDO (F & P) Iqbal Hussain in the chair to review the prices of essential food items.
All the officers concerned stakeholders and representatives of trade and consumers' bodies were also present in the meeting. The committee fixed following prices of commodities for Juma/Sunday Bazars and open market respectively.
Mutton Rs 260/270 per kg, beef Rs 150/160 per kg, flour bag of 20 kg Rs 540/545, vegetable ghee & oil Kashmir & Kissan Rs 125/128, sugar Rs 65/67 per kg, gram dal Rs 44/46, rice basmati Rs 55/60, roti Rs 3 and sasti roti Rs 2, milk Rs 35/38 per liter, yoghurt Rs 38/40 and fruits and vegetables according to daily rates fixed by the market committees concerned.
