Secretary General, Jamaat-i-Islami (JI), Liaquat Baloch has said that the involvement of foreign hands in the bomb blast at the FIA building could not be ruled out. He was talking to media men at Jinnah Hospital during his visit to enquire after the health of those injured in the blast.
He condemned the blast and prayed for quick recovery of the injured. Baloch said that bomb blasts at the important government buildings and public places were being carried out in a well planned manner with the collusion of the US, India and Israel to destabilise the country.
Unfortunately, our secret services and intelligence agencies have failed to break the net work of the terrorists. He said the US and India were attacking on the sovereignty and integrity of the country from Afghanistan, as Indian Consulates in Afghanistan were working as terrorists training camps.
He urged the rulers to learn from their past mistakes and detach themselves from the US war on terror, stop military operations being carried out on US dictation and hold talks with the tribal people. Meanwhile, in a press statement issued here on Monday, Liaquat Baloch urged Punjab government and the Higher Education Commission to save the career of female students of University of Education by getting its degrees recognised from the Punjab University.
