Chairman Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal, Gilgit-Baltistan, Shamshair Khan on Tuesday said Bait-ul-Maal would provide medicines worth Rs 200,000 to Hunza Ata Abad victims. Talking to newsmen, he said the institution would lend its full support for the rehabilitation of the sufferers. He said, "we would also award scholarships of Rs 60,000 per year to the students of the affected area."
He said a shelter house namely 'Sweet Home' for infants below five years had been established in the area as well. Federal Government had issued special directives to the department to take special care of the victims, he added.
