Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday called upon the elected members of parliament to take account of development work in their respective areas and assess the benefit and relief to the common man. Talking to a group of ministers and parliamentarians at the PM Secretariat, the Prime Minister said providing relief to the common man has been government's priority.
The Prime Minister said, public-private partnership needs to be promoted to give boost to the economy. He advised the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis, Chairman, Board of Investment and Ministry of Finance to take all stakeholders on board to make investor friendly policies. The law and order situation, he added, had improved after successful operations in Swat, Malakand and Waziristan.
