The Administrator Hyderabad Aftab Ahmed Khatri while announcing the date March 22nd 2010 for the opening of OPD at newly constructed Trauma Centre in Holms Stead Hall Hyderabad said that quality treatment would be provided in Trauma Centre.
He was presiding over a meeting at Zila Nazim Secretariat on Saturday. The Administrator Hyderabad said that medicines and staff were available for running the Trauma Centre successfully while the services of specialist doctors working in other hospitals would also be hired. He constituted two members committee and assigned it to submit report about rules and regulations of Trauma Centre in a week time so that it can work more efficiently.
He said that he would contact the provincial government for the appointment of permanent employees in Trauma Centre and the allocation of funds for it. He assured that including X-rays machine, other required equipment would be provided soon. He termed the establishment of Trauma Centre in Hyderabad as historical achievement and said that it would not only cater the need of Hyderabad citizen but also people of surrounding areas would get quality health facilities. He said that present government was fully committed to provide all basic facilities to the people at their doorsteps.
