Slight rise in prices was seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Monday in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, wheat new (government Bardana) was quoted higher at Rs 2450-2460. Gur best type shed Rs 400 to Rs 5800 and low type was unchanged at Rs 5500.
Khandsari low type was down by Rs 300 to Rs 7800 while the best type maintained the overnight level at Rs 8000, they said. On the seed side, rapeseed Nawabshah inferior type was higher by Rs 40 to Rs 1640 and good type was up by Rs 50 to Rs 1650, castorseed Lasbela registered higher at Rs 1700-1750 and castorseed Sindh followed the same pattern and was quoted up at Rs 1600-1650, they added.
