Several price changes seen on grain market

Several changes were seen on the wholesale grain and seed market on Saturday as buyers made fresh deals to meet immediate needs, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old (Bardana-with bag) quoted at Rs 2440 and new registered at Rs 2455, Gur was down by Rs 100 to Rs 5200-5600 and Khandsari was quoted at Rs 7500-7800, other items did not show any change in process of trading, they said.
On the grams side Guwar Sindh was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 3700-3800 and Guwar Punjab also followed the same pattern and lost the same amount at Rs 3650-3750, they said. On the seed counter rapeseed Nawabshah low type was lower by Rs 55 to Rs 1610 and good type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 1620. Rapeseed Dadulane good type lost Rs 50 to Rs 1700 and low type shed Rs 75 to Rs 1425 and rapeseed Mirpurlane good type was lower by Rs 25 to Rs 1750 while inferior type did not show any change at Rs 1700, they said.
