Mirza asks IGP for foolproof security on Pakistan Day

Sindh Minister for Home, Dr Zulfiqar Ali Mirza has asked the Provincial Police Officer/Inspector General of Police Sindh to ensure foolproof security arrangements on Pakistan Day. This he said while reviewing the contingency plan prepared by Capital City Police for March 23.
An official statement here on Sunday said that he stressed for extraordinary security measures due to prevalent law and order situation in the country.
Dr Mirza further directed to keep vigil on anti-social and anti-democratic elements to avoid any untoward incident of terrorism/sabotage. He observed that elaborate security arrangements are required to be ensured.
Home Minister also issued directive to utilise/mobilise all the existing resources for even implementation of contingency plan for Pakistan Day. All important buildings, vital installations, recreational places and other public places be effectively guarded to provide protection to life and property, he added.
