A small plane crashed in a residential area in an eastern Venezuela city, leaving six people dead, according to local radio stations. The plane crashed in a densely populated poor neighbourhood near the international airport of Cumuna, 600 kilometres east of Caracas. Initial reports said the pilot was flying alone and lost control before crashing into the homes.
