Foreign investors'' interest continued at the equity market during the week ended on March 26, 2010 with net buying of shares worth $9.5 million. According to National Clearing Company of Pakistan (NCCP) data, the inflow of foreign investors'' portfolio investment at the equity market surged to $92.171 million during the current month.
Besides, companies also remained net buyers of shares worth $2.9 million. However, individuals came out as net sellers of $12.8 million during the week. The week started on a positive note with an inflow of $4,221,162 on Monday. The market remained closed on Tuesday on account of Pakistan Day. On Wednesday, the foreign investors remained net buyers of shares worth $2,045,634. This trend continued with a net inflow of $1,954,569 on Thursday and $1,338,354 on Friday.
