NWFP Senior Minister Bashir Ahmed Bilour on Sunday urged PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif to review its decision by helping the democratic forces in order to end the existing deadlock regarding constitutional amendments for the smooth repealing of the 17th amendment.
While terming the PML-N attitude un-reconciliatory and negative in this critical juncture of time in the country's history regarding repealing of the 17th amendments, he said that ANP will not compromise on Pakthunkhwa issue and urged Mian Nawaz Sharif to come forward by ending the deadlock that would open up a new era of national unity and cohesion.
He was addressing a public meeting after the inaugurating the water and health supply schemes at Yakatooth in PF-3 and NA-Peshawar. The minister in this connection also appealed to the leaders of the concerned parties to resolve the issue of Pukhtunkhwa keeping in view the aspiration of the inhabitants of this province.
The repealing of the 17th amendments would help remove doctoral laws and will strengthen democracy and parliament, he added. He said that ANP has always struggled for rights of Pakthuns and will provide maximum benefit to people. He said that mission of Bacha Khan and Wali Khan would be completed. The whole responsibilities would be lied on PML-N leadership if the constitutional reforms were not met.
He said that ANP will continue to fight war against militancy and terrorism for survival of our country and will give more sacrifices for Pakistan.
