Khaksar Tehreek Pakistan (KTP) Sunday staged a protest demonstration in front of Lahore Press Club against the energy crisis and prices hike. A large number of workers led by Dr Sabiha Arshad Almasharqi participated in the protest demonstration. The participants were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the price hike and load-shedding of gas and electricity.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Sabiha said small industries are going to destruction due to the prolonged and unscheduled load-shedding of electricity, adding that thousands of labourers have gone jobless. She also called upon the government to remove all 'fake cases' against Dr Abdul Qadeer, adding that his guidance will be helpful to end the energy crisis. She said the government should take strict action against those involved in increasing prices of the daily use items like sugar and flour.
