Iraq has bought around 500,000 tonnes of Russian, Canadian and US wheat, Middle East trade sources said on Tuesday. The breakdown of the purchase is said to include 300,000 tonnes of Russian wheat, 150,000 tonnes of Canadian origin and 50,000 tonnes of US grain, the sources said. The US purchase was said to be US hard red winter wheat its last wheat tender which closed on January 26, Iraq said it purchased 280,000 tonnes from Russia and 100,000 tonnes from Canada.
