Grams, urad prices sharply up on grain market

Grams prices were higher on the wholesale grain and oilseed market on Tuesday in process of tight supplies, dealers said. On the gram side, gram 50x50 low type was up by Rs 350 to Rs 4200 and good type was higher by Rs 300 to Rs 300 to Rs 4450. Gram dal posted fresh gain of Rs 300 to Rs 5500-5700, yellowpeas Canada picked up Rs 50 to Rs 2700-2850 and yellowpeas dal Canada and dal beetle gained Rs 50 to Rs 2950-3100, they said.
On the cereals sector urad Burma low type was up by Rs 500 to Rs 3800 and best type gained Rs 1150 to Rs 5000, other items did not move any side in process of trading, they said. On the seed side, rapeseed cakes rose by Rs 10 to Rs 720-730. Rice sector retained the overnight levels in process of trading, they said.
