KATI delegation calls on Nawaz

A 30-member delegation of Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) led by S. M. Muneer, a leading businessman and former President FPCCI, called on PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif and apprised him of the problems being faced by the industry.
Muneer briefed Mian Nawaz Sharif about the already higher tariffs of gas and electricity in the country, adding that these inflationary trends had made the industry and trade not viable.
Muneer castigated the IMF dictations while dealing with the country, pointing that business community of the country felt that this situation could have been avoided. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif too agreed with the delegation dealing with IMF could have been avoided and the country could bravely stand on its feet without that. Nawaz Sharif also agreed with the delegation high gas and electricity tariffs were harming the industry as well as the people of the country.
Muhammad Nawaz Sharif promised with the delegation to meet them during his Karachi visit. On the occasion CM Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Nisar Ali Khan were also present.
