Inspector General Sindh Police, Sultan Salahuddin Baber Khatak has said that he has observed and newspapers reports also reveal that the behaviour of those police officials and staff, who are deployed at police stations in interior Sindh with the people is unfair. The IGP Sindh observed this while chairing a meeting at Central Police Office here, said a statement issued on Sunday.
He said the unfair treatment and unethical behaviour of the police with the people leave bad impression of the department. Besides Interior Sindh, the complaints are also received in Karachi about the alleged close links of the police officials with criminal elements, he said.

He also ordered action against the black-sheeps in the police department. He further directed that action be taken against the criminals with the co-operation of the people.
The IGP Sindh also directed the RPOs Hyderabad and Sukkur and the CCPO Karachi to prepare a list of all those police officials, who allegedly have links with the criminal elements.
He has also sought the names of all those SHOs, whose behaviour with the people is unfair and who use delaying tactics in registration of the FIRs.
