'Musharraf offered me premiership many times'

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali on Sunday said that former president Pervez Musharraf had offered him the slot of Prime Minister in case of changing loyalty several times but he did not compromise on the principles in the best interest of his party as well as the country.
"Musharraf offered me several times to become Prime Minister, as a reward for changing loyalty with Pakistan Muslim League-N, but I never compromised on the principles and preferred to remain behind the bars instead of getting any facility from the dictator," Chaudhry Nisar said while address a meeting at the residence of Malik Zubair Hussain at Chak Danyal.
Nisar said that he remained loyal to the party chief Nawaz Sharif and not compromised on the principles, therefore, Allah Almighty graced him with huge respect. He said he always remained with Nawaz Sharif in the difficult times with courage and firmness. He told the gathering not to elect those leaders who change their loyalties for their personal interests.
