Strategy evolved to hunt volleyball players in Punjab

President Punjab Volleyball Association Zafar Abbas Luk has said that a strategy has been formulated for the promotion and development of game of volleyball in the province. Talking to Business Recorder here he said that under the programme, special attention would be accorded on hunting the talent for fulfilling the future requirements and infusing fresh blood in the game of volleyball.
At present the volleyball game was on down trend and it needs special attention for the development of smashing game in the country he said. Zafar Abbas disclosed that special centres have been established at Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad and Sahiwal areas for grooming and training of younger players because at this juncture we direly needed talented players.
We are taking special initiatives in collaboration of district governments for introducing the volleyball game in educational institutions at district level in the Punjab, he revealed. The President Punjab Volleyball Association further stated that this move will be much supportive not only in hunting the talented players but also helps in fulfilling the future requirements of national team.
