Army starts sending tribesmen for Umra

The seven tribesmen belonging to North Waziristan Agency who performed Umra on the expense of the Pakistan Army on Tuesday returned and received by their well wishers at Islamabad Airport. A release of ISPR said that every year army selects 20 individuals from all the areas of North Waziristan with different tribes and sent them for Umra in two to three groups.
The next group comprising thirteen individuals will leave during 3rd or 4th quarter of the year. These efforts are part of an overall welfare campaign, which army has launched in these areas to alleviate the poor by providing them rations, arranging medical camps, giving sports gear clothing, books to children and plethora of other activities it concluded.
