Pakistani National referee Muhammad Afzal Khan will supervise matches of 27th Norhalne Football Cup at Denmark, slated to run from 13-16 May 2010 at Nørhalne - a small village of 1700 inhabitants, situated 15-km north of Aalborg. Each team play seven matches on beautiful grass pitches in the event under aegis of Danish Football Association (DBU).
The promising players of Brazil, England, Belgium, Lithuania, Russia, Finland, the Netherlands, Ireland, Slovakia, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Denmark will show their status in the four-day event. Afzal thanked Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)'s President for reposing confidence on him and said that PFF Chief is a great lover of soccer and PFF is lucky to have such a glorious head.
His commitment as PFF Chief is triumph for Pakistan's players, coaches, referees and administrators. The football family stands solidly behind him for his tremendous accomplishment in such a short span of time. Under his directives, PFF management supported me in completing Visa, travel documents. Afzal is regularly supervising matches of Pakistan Premier League and PFF League since 2007 besides age group competitions of U14, U16, U19 and U21.
