The United Nations Commission, which looked into the facts and circumstances of the December 2007 assassination of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, will unveil its much awaited report on Thursday afternoon, a world body's spokesman said. He said the 3-member commission will present its report to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon at 4.30 pm local time on Thursday (01:30 PST Friday), and he will then turn it over to Pakistan's UN Ambassador Hussain Abdullah Haroon.
Ban will also submit it to the Security Council for information. After presenting the report to Ban, the head of the commission, Chile's UN Ambassador Heraldo will release the report at a press conference at 5:30 pm (02:30 PST Friday).
