Justice Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman of the Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Thursday refused to hear two petitions seeking disqualification of a MNA Mian Javed Latif and MPA Tariq Mehmood Bajwa on the basis of possessing fake BA degrees. Justice Iqbal said the petitioners made election commission party in their petitions so he could not hear them as he was also a member of an election tribunal and sent the petitions to Chief Justice for their fixation before any other appropriate bench.
Sarfraz Raza filed petition against Javed Latif MNA from Sheikhupura while Abid Hussain Cheema challenged eligibility of Tariq Bajwa MPA from Nankana Sahib.
