Assembly members from various districts called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Chief Minister's Secretariat here on Thursday and apprised him of development projects being executed in their respective areas.
Talking to the assembly members, the Chief Minister said that provision of basic facilities to the people and to bring the downtrodden strata into the mainstream of development was the top priority of the Punjab government and for this purpose projects worth billions of rupees were being completed in a transparent manner.
He urged upon assembly members to make all out efforts to ensure that people should benefit from the development projects and their problems were resolved. Those who met the Chief Minister included Malik Shakir Bashir Awan, Muhammad Afzal Khokhar, Muhammad Masood Lali, Malik Muhammad Feroz Joiya, Rana Munawar Hussain, Sheikh Mumtaz Ahmad and Pir Muhammad Ashraf.
