Chairman Pakistan People's Party-Sherpao (PPP-S) and former Interior Minister, Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao said on Thursday that situation of Hazara was mishandled as result of which innocent people were killed on the roads and streets in Abbottabad over the issue of Pakhtonkhwa.
Talking to reporters after joining of eminent lawyer, Khalid Usman in the folds of PPP-Sherpao, the veteran leader expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the loss of innocent lives in three-day riots in Hazara especially in Abbottabad and termed it very unfortunate incident. He demanded an independent judicial commission to probe this tragedy from every angle.
Sherpao said that he equally shared the grief and sorrow of people, who's near and dear ones lost their lives, saying that our sympathies are with the people of Hazara. He also expressed his shock and sorrow over loss of civilians in Tirah valley. Aftab Sherpao expressed his deep concern over the long hours loading shedding and termed it intolerable for the people.
He said that IDPs should be given all the facilities to help minimise their sufferings. He said that the problems being faced by the people of the province including unemployment, law and order situation and load shedding should also be addressed besides the provincial identification of the province. He welcomed Khalid Usman for joining his party and expressed the hope that PPP-S would be further strengthened due to his inclusion.
