Pakistan Muslim League (Like minded) group organised workers' convention in the city on Friday and criticised government's failure in addressing problems of the masses. Top leadership of the party including President Salim Saifullah, Secretary General Humayun Akhtar Khan, Gohar Ayub, Ata Manika and Kashmala Tariq addressed to the workers.
However, party sources said party chairman Hamid Nasir Chattha could not attend the convention as he is out of the country. Alhamra Hall No 2 was jam packed with party workers. A large number of female workers were also present on the occasion. The leadership of PML-like minded group criticised the government for bad governance and for not resolving issues like poverty, inflation, loadshedding and rising unemployment.
