Baloch leader and Secretary General of Jamhoori Watan Party Rauf Khan Sasoli has said that employment is being denied to Balochis for the last 30 years in Customs, Excise, Income Tax, Pakistan Steel, Utility Stores Corporation, PSO, OGDC, Islamabad Police, FIA and other federal government departments and autonomous bodies and now government should immediately recruit at least 15,000 Baloch youths in these departments, condoning all deficiencies.

Commenting on the passage of 18th Amendment, he said that it was a positive step towards democracy, decency and consensus.
He however suggested that Khyber-Pukhtunkhwa province should consist of Fata, NWFP and Pushtoon majority areas of Balochistan while the Hazara Division should be made part of Hindku province and that there was no need of a separate province for Hazara people.
He observed that Seraiki nationality had its own culture, civilisation, land and identification and it was a valid demand of Seraiki people to constitute a new province. The Baloch leader said Parliament and Senate are authorised to make laws and amend the constitution, keeping in view the ground realities. He called upon the political parties, groups and institutions not to develop a state of confrontation and remain united to strengthen the country.
He termed Pervez Musharraf as a killer of Nawab Akbar Bugti and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, adding his aides in Pakistan must be put on the exit control list so that they could not sneak off abroad. He further said General Zia-ul-Haq introduced klashnikov, heroin culture and changed the role of the parliament.
