Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Asif Yasin Malik after taking over the charge of 11th Corps visited troops deployed in the South Waziristan Agency and extolled their high state of operational preparedness, professionalism and devotion to duty. Corps commander in his daylong visit met officers and Jawans positioned at Bannu, Jandola and Sararogha areas.
Talking to the troops, corps commander said that there is no space for miscreants in Fata, they will be dealt with iron hand. The writ of government will be established at all cost and in this regard no stone will be left unturned, he added. Asif Yasin said that tribesmen are peace loving people but they are held hostage by terrorists. They want peace and development in their areas and Army is here to bring "peace, progress and prosperity."
