Sayid Paper Mills Stag overwhelmed Universal Cricket Club by 62 runs in the All Pakistan Green Cricket Cup, being played here at Model Town Cricket Club. Stags made 294-3 with Junaid Ali making unbeaten 102, supported by Bilal Uzmat 103, Imran Butt 51 and Afzal Shahzad 18 not out.
Emmad Ali took 2-51. Universal Club in reply made 232 with Irfan Haider 67, Khawaja Zohair 27, Awais Tariq 24, Asim Maqsood 49 not out and Rahil Hussain 15. Muhammad Afzal took 4-43, Inam Javed 2-46, Sultan Ali 1-34, Nauman 1-41. The chief guest Asad Iqbal presented Junaid Ali for scintillating batting display.
